Geelong could well be hoping their former star Steve Johnson has cooled off after a hot start with Greater Western Sydney as the Cats prepare to host their three-time premiership winning player for the first time.
Saturday's match at Skilled Stadium will be interesting almost as much for the crowd's reaction to Stevie J as for the result.
Johnson spent 14 productive seasons with the Cats before they released him at the end of the 2015 campaign.
Greater Western Sydney pounced on the available 32-year-old veteran, adding him to their already potent mix of young forwards.
Only star forward Jeremy Cameron (22) has kicked more goals for the Giants this season than Johnson, who has bagged 21.
Johnson kicked seven goals in his first four games, before logging bags of four and five in successive weeks against St Kilda and Hawthorn.
Last week's game against the Crows in Adelaide represented the first fixture in which Johnson has failed to kick a goal for GWS, as he tallied just one behind.
Nonetheless, he is till averaging 2.1 goals per game, above his career average of 1.8.
