Matthew Dellavedova's days at the Cleveland Cavaliers are over with the NBA champions deciding not to match the Milwaukee Bucks' four-year, $US38.5 million offer.
Dellavedova is expected to officially sign with the Bucks later in the week, cleveland.com reported on Monday.
It is a major pay rise for the scrappy 25-year-old point guard from Maryborough, Victoria, who earned $US1.2 million with the Cavaliers last year.
The Cavaliers offered Dellavedova $US1.4 million to stay in Cleveland next season, while the Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings and the Atlanta Hawks were all reportedly in the hunt for the Australian.
The Bucks, coached by one of the NBA's great point guards, Jason Kidd, are a team on the rise.

Miami Heat veteran and All-Star guard Dwyane Wade is reportedly looking at joining the Bucks, which also has young talent Giannis Antetokounmpo, Michael Carter-Williams and Jabari Parker on its books.
Dellavedova will also join forces with 216cm 19-year-old Australian centre Thon Maker, who was picked by the Bucks last month with the 10th selection of the NBA Draft.
Dellavedova is in Australia preparing for the Olympics.
