Ceasefire death toll in Ukraine nears 1,000

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights says almost 1,000 people have died since a truce came into effect in Ukraine in September.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights says almost 1,000 people have died since a truce came into effect in Ukraine in September.

A UN report says civilians continue to be killed in the country's east, and the number of internally displaced people has also risen despite the announcement of the ceasefire.
