Recently returned federal Mayo MP Rebekha Sharkie has again been endorsed as the Centre Alliance candidate for the South Australian seat.

The party has also named Skye Kakoschke-Moore, who was forced to quit federal parliament because of dual citizenship issues, as its lead Senate candidate for the next election.

"Resigning from the Senate last year was heart-breaking but I haven't let that stop me from continuing to speak with individuals and organisations about the issues that matter to them," Ms Kakoschke-Moore said in a statement on Friday.

"I'm looking forward to running a positive campaign based on the issues important to South Australians."

Ms Sharkie was also forced to quit parliament earlier this year over citizenship saga but easily defeated Liberal candidate Georgina Downer 57.5 per cent to 42.5 per cent in a recent by-election.

"I've had the great privilege of representing the people of Mayo for over two years and I'm very pleased the party has re-endorsed me in my role," she said.

Ms Downer is also expected to get another tilt at Mayo in 2019 although she faces a challenge for Liberal pre-selection from human resources manager Reagan Garner.

A vote of Liberal members will be held on Saturday.

The Centre Alliance said it would also be considering applicants for other lower house seats in South Australia taking into account each applicant's public profile, strong connection with their community and their support for the party's core policy principles of responsible, transparent and accountable government.
