James Tedesco admits his early-season form for the Sydney Roosters was disconcerting but reckons he and his team are back as an attacking force in the NRL.
Tedesco will play his 100th first-grade match and his 10th for the Chooks when they confront the Warriors at what is forecast to be a wet Mt Smart Stadium on Saturday.
Conditions may hamper the progress which livewire fullback Tedesco believes his team made to their much-maligned attack in last week's 22-20 win over Manly.
The former Wests Tigers star produced arguably his best game of the season, something he put down to attacking structure tweaks introduced by coach Trent Robinson during an 11-day break.
"We made a few changes with the long turnaround and it's definitely in a positive direction," Tedesco told Roosters Radio.

"I'm starting to get more comfortable each and every week.
"Obviously I was very disappointing at the start of the year, not very consistent."
Tedesco's display will have taken him closer to securing the New South Wales No.1 jumper.
However, his focus is purely on avenging the 30-6 humbling from the Warriors in Sydney six weeks ago.
They failed to stop the rejuvenated Kiwi club's momentum that day and paid a heavy price.
Missing aggressive forward Victor Radley to suspension, Tedesco called on other pack men to step up and match the home team's physicality.
"The Warriors are creating some second phase and getting points from it," he said.
"I think our middle D stopping their roll-on will give less space to their outside backs. That'll be a key for us."
The Roosters, playing outside Sydney for the first time this season, have alternated between wins and losses since round three.
Tedesco's match-up with Warriors opposite and former Rooster Roger Tuivasa-Sheck could go some way to determining the result in what shapes as a waterlogged contest.
