Charges laid after Vic raids

Five people, including four men and one woman, will face court on drugs charges after raids on five houses in Melbourne.

Drugs and firearms have allegedly been seized from five properties after a series of raids in Melbourne.

Police on Friday charged four men and one woman after raids in Thomastown, Noble Park, Deer Park and Maribyrnong on Thursday morning.

Clandestine Laboratory Squad detectives also found drug manufacturing equipment inside one of two homes in Thomastown.

They are all expected to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday.
