Organisers of a charity concert today hope they can raise $50, 000 dollars for the family of 11 people who perished in a Brisbane house fire.

Members of the extended Samoan and Tongan family died last week when their Slacks Creek home, south of Brisbane, burned to the ground in the worst blaze since the 2000 Childers backpacker fire.

Three people survived.
