Child sex assault at activity centre

A child was sexually assaulted at an activity centre on Halley Road, Balcatta on Saturday afternoon, police say, calling for information.

Police want to speak with anyone who was at a children's activity centre in the northern Perth suburb of Balcatta on the weekend after a sexual assault against a child was reported.

They say the child was sexually assaulted by a male at the Halley Road centre on Saturday between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

Anyone who has information is urged to contact police.
