Chilean airport offers free yoga

Santiago International has joined Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and Canada's Vancouver International Airport in offering free yoga for travellers.

Starting this week, departing international passengers at Santiago International Airport can enjoy free yoga classes while waiting to board their flights.

Being able to practice yoga while watching planes land and take off is a "beautiful and great experience," airport spokesman Branco Karlezi told EFE on Friday.

"People will be able to do yoga sessions to relax, to get rid of stress and fears of flying," he said.

The Santiago terminal handled 17.2 million passengers in 2015.
