China bus fire kills at least 30 people

A tourist bus in China's central province of Hunan has crashed into a barrier and burst into flames, killing at least 30 people.

China's state broadcaster CCTV says at least 30 people have been killed in a fire aboard a tourist bus in the central province of Hunan.

CCTV says a total of 56 people were aboard the bus when it crashed into a barrier along a highway on Sunday morning.

The broadcaster says 21 of those aboard were sent to a hospital and the driver has been held for questioning.

The cause of the crash remained unclear.
