Chinese-focused retailer AuMake has added four new stores, including the first ones outside of Sydney.

The company said on Friday it has acquired a store in Brisbane and one in Auckland, as well as opening two in Sydney's Campsie and Haymarket.

The new stores bring the company's total to 17.

AuMake, which is focused on selling to Chinese tourists and personal exporters known as daigou, said it expects the new stores to be profitable soon after opening and to increase the company's internal sales forecast by 30 to 40 per cent.

The company said it is looking to open more stores in Brisbane and Auckland.
