Chinese medicine award for Sydney professor

A professor at the University of Western Sydney has been awarded for his work with the Chinese medicine industry in Australia.

The World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies' has awarded University of Western Sydney, Professor Alan Bensoussan for his work with the Chinese medicine industry in Australia.

The Beijing-based group presents the awards to people based outside of China who have worked to promote Chinese medicine around the world.

Professor Bensoussan spoke with Andrea Nierhoff about why he believes Chinese medicine should be used side-by-side with Western healthcare.
