CIMIC firms secure orders worth $350m

Several CIMIC Group companies have won construction orders of more than $350 million in Australia, New Zealand and India.

CIMIC Group companies have secured construction orders worth more than $350 million across the Australia-New Zealand market and in India.

Cimic said its Leighton Asia unit won a $108.4 million project in India to build a residential apartment building for developer Vipul in Gurgaon, its second project win in the country in two weeks.

Another unit, CPB Contractors, has been selected for a $134 million infrastructure upgrade at the Junee Correctional Centre in New South Wales, while a CPB joint venture in New Zealand has been awarded a $NZ113 million ($A105 million) contract to build schools there.
