A joint venture in which CIMIC Group subsidiary Leighton Asia holds a 70 per cent stake has secured a $390 million contract for construction work at Hong Kong international airport.
The JV with local firm Chun Wo will construct foundations for a modified T2 terminal, two annex buildings and associated viaducts and utility services, with construction to be completed by December 2021.
Leighton Asia will earn revenue of approximately $273 million from the contract, CIMIC said on Thursday.
