'Civilian casualties' in US Syria strikes

The US army says its strikes in Syria during the week may have caused civilian casualties.

The US military says three strikes against the Islamic State group in Syria in the past six days may have caused civilian casualties.

US Central Command said in a statement on Tuesday that strikes near Dayz Az Zawr on September 7, near Raqqa on September 10 and near Ash Shaddadah on September 12 may have resulted in civilian casualties.
