The aftershocks of a scandal in Chongqing continue amid claims prisoners were tortured during a high-profile anti-crime campaign led by former Communist party official Bo Xilai.

The claims come after Mr Bo was suddenly removed from his position as the city's Communist Party Chief.

During his time as Chongqing party secretary, Mr Bo led a high-profile anti-crime campaign which led to the arrest of scores of mobsters and corrupt officials.
