Clinton win final race against Sanders

The 2016 presidential primary season is over and in the last race of the year, it's a win for Hillary Clinton.

FINAL FIGURES IN DEMOCRAT PRESIDENTIAL RACE:

- Hillary Clinton netted a dozen more delegates than Bernie Sanders Washington DC picking up 16 delegates to Sanders' four

- Clinton has a lead of 387 pledged delegates over Sanders

- Clinton has 2219 pledged delegates to Sanders' 1832

- When including superdelegates, or party officials who can back any candidate, Clinton holds a wider lead - 2800 to 1881

- It takes 2383 to win, a number Clinton reached last week to become the presumptive nominee

- Donald Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee, wrapped up his primary effort last Tuesday, when the final Republican primary elections were held in five states.
