Club greats to present AFL premiership cup

The AFL have chosen Richmond great Matthew Richardson and former Adelaide skipper Mark Bickley to present the premiership cup at Saturday's grand final.

Richmond great Matthew Richardson and former Adelaide captain Mark Bickley have been chosen to present the AFL premiership cup at Saturday's grand final.

Three-time All-Australian Richardson will hand over the cup if the Tigers win their first premiership since 1980, while Bickley -- who led Adelaide to back-to-back premierships in 1997 and 1998 -- will do the honours should the Crows succeed in winning a third flag.

The AFL have previously confirmed that former Essendon coach James Hird will present the Norm Smith medal to the player judged best-afield.
