A new Victorian Coalition government will open up the books on the Labor government's controversial myki ticketing system for public transport, the desalination plant and smart meter projects.
The Coalition is inching towards taking the 45 seats it needs to form government, and deputy leader Peter Ryan says it's intent on releasing the figures behind myki, the desalination plant and smart meter contracts, because they're in the public interest.
Baillieu was set to meet with his shadow cabinet on Monday to prepare to take office, after a massive 6 per cent swing against Labor in the weekend's state election.
Ryan says Coalition leader Ted Baillieu will be open and honest in the way he managed government and his premiership will be one of the great eras in Victoria.
On Monday morning, an expectant media was awaiting what was thought likely to be a concession speech from Premier Brumby.

Victorians 'spoke loudly'
Mr Ryan says Victorians spoke loudly at Saturday's election and that Labor should quietly close the door on the way out.
Nationals leader Peter Ryan, who will be deputy premier in a Coalition Government, said he expected to win.
