Len Austrevich created the Jokes4Miles blog so that family, friends and strangers could share videos of them telling jokes to his son, Miles Austrevich, while he is in hospital.

Miles, 19, has been battling brain cancer for over three years and is about to undergo a stem cell transplant.

The campaign has received overwhelming support with more than five hundred jokes submitted so far, including from celebrities and professional comedians like Tina Fey and Jay Leno.
