Concern over Vietnamese deportees

Refugee advocates say they are concerned about the fate of Vietnamese asylum seekers who have been deported from Australia.

Refugee advocates say they are concerned about the fate of 23 Vietnamese asylum seekers who have been deported from Australia.

They say the group was sent to Vietnam early Wednesday morning.

Refugee Action Coalition spokesperson Ian Rintoul says a similar group returned earlier this month has been harrassed by local authorities.

He told Brianna Piazza that Vietnamese from the Catholic minority are especially vulnerable.
