Concerns grow over New York cycling deaths

Cycling deaths are raising concerns in New York City, with drivers who kill cyclists walking away without criminal charges laid against them.

In 2010 there were more than 6000 traffic accidents involving cyclists in New York, with 36 cyclists killed.

Thirty-year-old Mathieu Lefevre was killed by a truck while cycling in October 2011 and now his mother Erica is on a crusade to learn the truth about his death and make the road safer for other bicycle riders.
