The Afghan Hazara community has expressed alarm over the imminent deportation of an asylum seeker back to his homeland.
The Villawood detainee, Ismail Mirza Jan, will be sent to Kabul on Saturday after a court rejected his refugee status.
He will be the first Afghan to be sent home, under a controversial agreement between the Australian and Afghan governments.
