Coniglio headlines AFL free agency list

The AFL has released the list of this year's free agents, with three classified as restricted and 58 unrestricted.

Fresh from his best-afield start to the season, GWS star Stephen Coniglio headlines the AFL's list of free agents.

Coniglio joins Richmond premiership player Brandon Ellis and St Kilda mainstay Jack Newnes as restricted free agents.

There are 58 unrestricted free agents through the 18 clubs, with Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott, West Coast star Nic Naitanui, Richmond midfielder Shane Edwards and new Hawthorn captain Ben Stratton among the notable names.

An unrestricted free agent can move to the club of his choice, but a restricted free agent's club can match a rival offer.
