Damien Cook is "fine to go" if needed against Gold Coast but South Sydney coach Anthony Seibold is yet to decide if the NSW hooker and the rest of his State of Origin quartet will back up for NRL duties.
Having been cleared of a sternum injury, NSW hooker Cook flew direct from Melbourne to Queensland with skipper Greg Inglis, Dane Gagai and Angus Crichton.
Seibold said Cook pulled up "a bit sore" after his impressive Origin debut, during which the NSW hooker required medical attention after copping an apparent high knee from Queensland's Will Chambers.
But he understood the 26-year-old did not require a scan and would wait to see him before deciding whether to slot him back in against the 12th-placed Titans as the third-placed Rabbitohs eye a sixth-straight win and the top of the ladder.
"I spoke to Damien this morning, he's fine," Seibold said on Thursday.
"He pulled up a bit sore - I think he made over 50 tackles - but there's no dramas with any injuries for any of the boys which is pleasing to hear.
"He's fine to go if he's required to play."
If Cook does not play, Seibold backed Robbie Farah to back up from his stand-out 62-tackle display against Cronulla, as he did all the others who stood in to keep the Rabbitohs' dominance rolling.
Gagai's finger is unlikely to be a concern after the Queensland winger fought through the pain of a compound dislocation to start Wednesday's Origin series-opening 22-12 loss at the MCG.
And almost as closely as he watched Inglis' rampaging Maroons comeback, Seibold kept an eye on Titans representatives Jarrod Wallace and Jai Arrow.
Gold Coast coach Garth Brennan was unsure whether he'd risk the pair but indicated they'd certainly be up for it.
"They're probably hurting after the result and I'm sure both will come out and make amends for the loss," Brennan said.
"The fact we're at home should be enough to fire the boys up as well.
"It's a challenge against South Sydney who are in fantastic form."
