Robbie Farah is no certainty to get first crack at hooker for South Sydney this NRL season, according to teammate Adam Reynolds.
Halfback Reynolds says Damien Cook has had the better run at the pre-season with high profile recruit Farah slowed by a biceps injury suffered last month.
"If I had to go off pre-season form, he's (Cook) probably our hooker," Reynolds told Fox Sports.
"He's done everything right."
Farah, 33, signed with Souths in September on a two-year deal after falling out of favour with Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor last year.

He was expected to be their first-choice hooker after the Rabbitohs released Cameron McInnes to St George Illawarra.
Reynolds backed Cook, who's played 26 NRL games, and NSW State of Origin veteran Farah to work in partnership.
"We're forming a combination between the halves and hookers and fullback, with Cookie and Farah," Reynold said.
"They're both X-factors and they can play a number of positions."
Despite his injuries, Farah is hoping to be fit to take on the Tigers in the opening round of the NRL season at ANZ Stadium on March 3.
