Woman's Day has removed what it had claimed was the first photo of Schapelle Corby after her release from jail.
On Tuesday the magazine claimed to have the first photo of the convicted drug smuggler without the veil she was wearing when she exited Bali's Kerobokan prison a day earlier.
It is understood the magazine removed the photo from its website after publisher Bauer Media received a copyright infringement notice.
Comment is being sought from Bauer.
However the photograph can still be seen on other websites and it has appeared on television.
In the photo, the 36-year-old is clinking a bottle of beer with her brother Michael.
Fairfax had reported that the magazine agreed to pay $20,000 for the exclusive photo, but Corby's sister Mercedes has since denied she sought or received payment for the image.
