Coroner slams government, Serco over Villawood deaths

A NSW coroner has issued a scathing report into the suicide deaths of three men within three months at the Villawood immigration detention centre in Sydney last year.

She slammed both the Department of Immigration and the private company that runs the centre, Serco, using words such as 'careless' and 'chaotic'.
