In-form North Queensland NRL winger Kyle Feldt says he's relishing a chance to go head to head with Parramatta's Semi Radradra.

Queensland State of Origin bolter Kyle Feldt has a chance to further press his representative claims this weekend when he comes face-to-face with Parramatta's Semi Radradra.

The North Queensland grand final hero is firmly in the running for a Maroons jersey this year after a strong start to the 2016 campaign.

Feldt has scored five tries in seven NRL games this year including four in his past three.

The 24-year-old is preparing to welcome Fijian flyer Radradra to Townsville as the Cowboys aim to avenge their round-two loss to the Eels.

Radradra's own possible eligibility for next month's ANZAC Test has put him in the spotlight, with many feeling he could get a call-up by Australian coach Mal Meninga to take on New Zealand.

Feldt says taking on the best wingers in the game is exactly the sort of challenge he thrives on.

"You always look at the other wingers and who is playing the best-form footy and try and match it with them," Feldt said.

"Coming up against those sort of guys really makes you want to play good."

Cowboys teammate Kane Linnett says it is important Feldt doesn't pay too much attention to Origin speculation.

The 27-year-old says Feldt's consistency at club level has put him in Queensland coach Kevin Walters' mind and it's simply a case of carrying on with that.

"It's important they keep playing the way they are and, if he gets the call-up, I'd be really happy for him," Linnett said.

"He knows he's just got to keep doing his good job here."
