Cowboys' Taumalolo faces one-game NRL ban

The NRL match review committee have laid three charges stemming from the match between North Queensland and Brisbane.

North Queensland star Jason Taumalolo is looking at a maximum two-game NRL ban for a shoulder charge in Thursday's win over Brisbane.

Taumalolo has been charged with a grade one shoulder charge on Broncos winger Jamayne Isaako in the second half, but can reduce the suspension to one week with an early guilty plea.

His Cowboys teammate Te Maire Martin and Brisbane forward Tevita Pangai have also both been sprung for dangerous contact but will escape a ban with an early guilty plea.
