Cox, Graham struggle at moguls World Cup

Australian moguls skiers Britt Cox and Matt Graham have both struggled at the World Cup event in Utah, but Jakara Anthony has achieved a career-best result.

Britt Cox has slipped to second in the moguls World Cup standings after a disappointing stop at Deer Valley in Utah.

Cox missed the super final and finished seventh in the Deer Valley leg of the season, and has relinquished the No.1 spot to USA skier Jaelin Kauf, who finished third.

Cox was also upstaged in Utah by 19-year-old Australian Jakara Anthony, who achieved a career-best result by finishing fifth overall following the top-six shootout.

It is world champion Cox's second-worst result of the season, having won at Calgary most recently and also winning the season-opening event in Finland.

After finishing third in the men's moguls in Calgary, Matt Graham also missed the super final at Deer Valley and finished 13th.

The Australian remains in third place overall this World Cup season.

The next event for the men's and women's World Cup season is at Tremblant in Quebec, Canada, on January 20.
