Talented Carlton youngster Patrick Cripps could find himself on the receiving end of a highly charged Sydney midfield this weekend.
The Swans will be out for blood at the SCG on Saturday in their bid to re-crack the AFL's top four following a frustrating loss to Hawthorn.
And Cripps' fourth-quarter masterclass against West Coast on Sunday could see him attract extra fire.
The 21-year-old notched 14 disposals, eight clearances and a goal in the final term at the MCG to bring the Blues to the brink of victory, only for the Eagles to pip them by seven points.
"His strengths are inside and his contested ball, so that's something we have to get on top of," Swans midfielder Josh Kennedy said.

"We feel it's a real strength of ours as well.
"No doubt that will go a long way towards winning the game."
Sydney lead the league for contested possession, while Carlton are last.
But Cripps is far and away his side's best performer in that department, racking up 233 contested possessions so far this season - 80 more than second-ranked teammate Ed Curnow.
Cripps also tops the Blues for clearances, with daylight between his 124 and Bryce Gibbs' 76.
"I'm going to be trying to win the ball as well," Kennedy said.
"But it's about working together and trying to make sure that as a team we're on top in that area."
Carlton have not beaten the Swans since round 13 in 2011.
