The group that's been fighting a long-running war against Morocco for independence for the Western Sahara has condemned Australian and other foreign companies for signing contracts with the Moroccan government.
The Algerian-backed Polisario Front claims the contracts signed by the foreign companies to buy phosphate from the Western Sahara are illegal under international law.
Polisario representative in Australia, Kamal Fadel, outlined to Lydia Feng his group's perspective of the situation.
