Adelaide coach Don Pyke knows where to focus his Crows for Sunday's AFL match against St Kilda.
Expect tackling. Pressure. And lots of it.
"St Kilda really apply themselves on (being) strong in the contest and their tackling and their pressure," Pyke said.
"So we just prepare the players to understand that is what they want to bring, and then we play accordingly."
The Crows enter the Adelaide Oval twilight game in eighth spot, a win ahead of the chasing pack.
Adelaide are the league's highest-scoring team with attackers Eddie Betts, Taylor Walker, Josh Jenkins and Tom Lynch in damaging form.
Walker and Betts both kicked five goals in a 22-point win against top-four hope Greater Western Sydney last weekend when the Crows booted eight goals in a match-winning third quarter.
Adelaide's awesome scoring power proves difficult to contain but Pyke was wary of the Alan Richardson coached Saints, who are 13th with four wins.
St Kilda, yet to beat a top-eight side this season, have turned in some eye-catching wins and some off-colour displays in an inconsistent season.
"I don't know if they're a harder read," Pyke said of the Saints.
"I think St Kilda's form, they probably had the one exception which was the West Coast game (a 102-point loss) game at Subiaco, Alan would be the first to suggest his team didn't give him what he wanted on that day.
"But other than that they nearly beat North Melbourne at Etihad about a month ago and they have won their last two.
"So they're a good, strong team emerging.
"This competition is so even we can't afford to think `well we have got St Kilda this week'.
"We have got to come and prepare and play our style and our way against a quality opposition."
