Adelaide Crows fans have waited four years to boo Kurt Tippett.
The 201cm key forward will line up for Sydney against the Crows in Adelaide for the first time on Saturday night since his acrimonious departure in 2012.
But while Adelaide fans may have long memories, midfielder Scott Thompson says Crows players don't have any special treatment in store for Tippett.
"He left here four years ago, didn't he?" Thompson told reporters on Monday.
"If you ask the playing group, they couldn't care less.
"That was a long time ago but I'm sure the supporters might let him know. We'll wait and see."
Tippett was suspended, then injured, for Sydney's visits to play Adelaide since leaving the Crows in a move central to punishment for draft tampering for both the club and player.
He returns to Adelaide Oval with an unbeaten Swans side to meet the fast-starting Crows, the competition's highest scorers after two rounds.
Adelaide's forward line is clicking, with some pundits labelling it the club's best-ever.
"There is a really good balance through there, whether it's our best, I wouldn't have a clue," Thompson said.
"Some really good talls in our side and at ground level probably some of the most dangerous players throughout the league.
"So we have got great balance through there and a number of guys that can roll through that part of the ground."
Thompson said Adelaide's high scoring was as much to do with up-field pressure as attacking talent.
"There has been a lot of positives with our ball movement through the first couple of rounds," he said.
"A lot of that comes off our fierce pressure on the ball. Our team defence has been really pleasing."
