Adelaide stars Sam Jacobs and Taylor Walker will have fitness tests later this week, with the AFL club upbeat they could face Brisbane in round 20.

AFL club Adelaide is upbeat injured ruckman Sam Jacobs will be fit to face Brisbane on Saturday night.

Jacobs rolled his ankle during the Crows' 82-point win over Essendon in round 19.

"It was relatively minor ... we'll assess him during the week and hopefully he'll be a chance to play this weekend," Crows high performance boss Brett Burton told the club website.

Captain Taylor Walker, who missed the Crows' comfortable victory over Essendon because of an ankle injury, faces a fitness test later this week.
