Australia's Ryan Cuskelly has claimed the scalp of another world top-10 squash player and booked his place in the semi-finals of the prestigious Qatar Classic in Doha.
Cuskelly beat world No.5, Colombia's Miguel Rodriguez, in a five-game encounter that ran for a marathon 88 minutes.
He will now take on Egyptian world No.1 Mohamed Elshorbagy in the semi-finals on Friday.
Lismore-born Cuskelly came from two games down to defeat Rodriguez 9-11 7-11 11-5 11-5 11-2.
Last week the New South Welshman recorded the biggest win of his career, winning the $35,000 Bluenose Classic in Canada, which helped him rise to his highest ever world ranking of 20.
Cuskelly's form is also a boost for Australia's chances at next month's World Teams Championships in Cairo.
He will team up with world No.19 Cameron Pilley, Rex Hedrick and Steven Finitsis in an event Australia has dominated since its inception almost 50 years ago.
