Former Australia all-rounder Ben Cutting played his part as defending champions Mumbai Indians moved up to fourth in the Indian Premier League with a resounding 102-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders.
Cutting (24 off 9) provided a perfect finish to the Mumbai innings when Piyush Chawla (3-48) conceded 22 runs in the last over with the Queenslander hitting a four and two sixes, and Krunal Pandya lofting the leg-spinner for a six off the last ball.
But the real star of the show for the visitors was 19-year-old left-hander Ishan Kishan, who smashed 62 off 21 balls with five fours and six sixes which propelled Mumbai to 6-210.
In reply, Kolkata, who had won the toss and elected to field first, lost their way early on in pursuit of its biggest run-chase in the IPL.
Australia's Chris Lynn (21) and fellow opener Sunil Narine (4) were dismissed inside the batting powerplay, Narine top edging in the first over and Lynn run out in a mix-up with Robin Uthappa.
Uthappa (14) then holed out at deep mid-wicket in leg-spinner Mayank Markande's first over and, when Andre Russell was caught at cover, Kolkata had lost all its hard-hitters and reeled at 4-54 in eight overs.
Poor running between the wickets then cost captain Dinesh Karthik, who was run out in another mix-up with Nitish Rana.
And Mumbai's Pandya brothers - seamer Hardik (2-12) and left-arm spinner Krunal (2-16) - picked up two wickets each to ensure Kolkata were dismissed for only 108 in 18.1 overs.
