“It's our job to keep this country safe from the threat of terrorism, from espionage and other national security threats,” Director General at MI5, Jonathan Evans said.
The Olympics are the main concern, but other threats such as cyber-attacks are on the horizon.

“The deployment of cyber weaponry is enormously attractive to nation states because it's cheap and if it's properly focused on the whole, people don't die,” said cybercrime expert, Professor Peter Sommer. “So we're going to see a lot more of that in the future.”
In a rare public speech, Mr Evans also said increasing numbers of British people were travelling to Arab countries to train as terrorists.
