Cyclist dead after being hit near Canberra

A cyclist has died after she was hit by a vehicle while riding near Lake George on Sunday morning.

A cyclist has been killed when she was hit by a vehicle at Lake George, near Canberra.

The woman in her 60s died at the scene after she was hit on Tarago Rd around 10am on Sunday.

The driver was unhurt, and is expected to be taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
