Cyprus says it will be using this month's Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Perth to seek international condemnation of Turkey.
A new row is brewing over gas exploration off the coast of Cyprus, as the United Nations attempts to reinvigorate reunification talks on the divided Mediterranean island.
Turkey, which occupies the northern third of the island, has again sent exploration vessels to the coast off the southern Greek-Cypriot part of the island.
The Turkish exploration is in the same area that is being drilled by the internationally-recognised government of Cyprus.
The latest developments come as UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon announced fresh trilateral talks in New York at the end of this month, in a bid to secure an accord on reunification.

Foreign Minister Dr Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis, who will be leading the Cyprus delegation at CHOGM, calls Turkey's actions provocative.
She told Sacha Payne, she will be raising the issue with other Commonwealth leaders.
