Dad, daughters camping in WA found safe

A father and his three daughters who went on a camping trip on WA's Brookton Highway amid bad weather have been found safe and well.

A Perth father and his three daughters who are on a camping trip have been found safe after they became uncontactable amid bad weather.

Jonathon Bolton, 33, and his young daughters Olivia, Layla and Zara were last seen leaving their Gosnells home about 1pm on Saturday.

They were heading for the Brookton Highway that leads to Western Australia's Wheatbelt region.

There were concerns for their safety when they couldn't be contacted because of the bad weather.

Police on Sunday said they had been found safe and well, but had had car problems.

They had issues contacting help because of limited mobile phone communications in the region.
