The father of a Sydney teenager charged with plotting an Anzac Day terrorist attack has delivered an emotional courtroom appeal pleading for his son to be released.

The 45-year-old father spoke in the witness box of the Parramatta Children's Court, vowing to ensure round-the-clock supervision of his 16-year-old son if bail was granted.

"To get my son back home I would do anything ... I love him with all my heart and he's everything to me," he told the teenager's bail hearing on Monday.
