Deron Williams hit a three-pointer at the buzzer in second overtime to see Dallas beat Sacramento 117-116 on Tuesday night for their 22nd consecutive home victory over the Kings.
Williams took an inbound pass from Devin Harris with 2.3 seconds left, pump faked to get Rudy Gay to fly by him in the left corner and the ball went in after the buzzer sounded.
It wasn't the only buzzer beater of the game though.
Earlier, DeMarcus Cousins completed a lay-up in the final seconds of regulation to send the game into overtime, and his Kings would have believed they had the game won when they led by seven with 1:20 left in the second overtime.
However not even Cousins' 35 points could break the Dallas hoodoo for the Kings, as the home side rallied for eight straight points to claim the match.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler scored 32 points and provided a season-high 10 assists to lead Chicago to a 117-106 victory over Milwaukee.
Paul Gasol also scored 26 points and claimed 11 rebounds in the Bulls' fifth straight win, where they never let surrendered the lead.
Khris Middleton was Milwaukee's best, scoring 26 points, while Michael Carter-Williams racked together 20 points of his own and provided 12 assists.
In Atlanta the home side almost overcame a 16-point deficit before falling six points short of the New York Knicks.
Arron Afflalo and Carmelo Anthony each scored 23 points, but the Knicks had their lead reduced to two points in the final minute before Jose Calderon scored on a drive with 18 seconds remaining.
Elsewhere, Golden State improved their record to 33-and-2 after Klay Thompson scored 22 points in the first quarter to set up a dominant 109-88 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The only concern for the Warriors was Stephen Curry's ailing leg, with the reigning MVP forced to sit out the fourth quarter to manage the injury.
Aussie Andrew Bogut had a relatively quiet night, he scored six points, claimed four rebounds and provided two assists.
