Damaging winds to hit parts of SA

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a warning for damaging winds across parts of South Australia.

A severe weather warning is in place for parts of South Australia with the Adelaide metropolitan area among those to be hit by wind gusts of put to 100km/h

The Bureau of Meteorology says a vigorous front will move across the state on Friday bringing localised damaging winds.

The area at risk also includes Eyre Peninsula, York Peninsula and the Adelaide Hills.
