Exotic dancers who knew an English stripper found dead in a closed Melbourne strip club say they hope justice is done over her death.
Stacey Tierney worked as a table-top dancer at Dreams Gentlemen's Club in Melbourne's CBD, where her body was found on December 19.
The circumstances surrounding the 29-year-old's death are yet to be determined and while the homicide squad is aware of the case, local detectives are currently investigating.
Victoria Police said the coroner will investigate the cause, but Ms Tierney's friends are seeking justice.
Exotic dancer Cheryl Grant said Ms Tierney didn't deserve what happened to her.

"I thought it would make things easier if we knew what happened but with each new detail I think everyone becomes more shocked and heartbroken that in your last hours on this earth you had to endure what you did," she posted on Facebook on Tuesday.
"We won't stop until whoever did this to you is put behind bars."
News Corp Australia says Ms Tierney had been partying at the closed club with several men on Sunday, December 18. The men reportedly fled the club where her body was discovered 12 hours later just before midday the following day.
A promoter at Dreams Gentlemen's Club told AAP he couldn't comment on Ms Tierney's death.
The fitness instructor from Manchester had reportedly been travelling in Australia for three years and worked in several venues around the country.
"You were such an awesome person to work with and one of the few genuine people in this world and industry!" Monique Makings said on Facebook.
"I hope justice is found asap and these pigs get what's coming."
Another dancer, Jordan Black, said Ms Tierney would be missed.
"(We) hope that whatever it is that happened and whoever is responsible will soon be found out," she posted on Facebook.
A gofundme.com page set up to help raise money to repatriate Ms Tierney's body to the UK has so far received donations of almost $20,000.
"Stacey was living her life to the full in Australia and she has made a huge impact on everyone who knew her," the fundraising page states.
An ex-boyfriend, Matthew Girvan, posted a tribute to Ms Tierney on December 21.
"Woke up to some horrible news this morning. Sat and watched the sunrise over Indonesia. My ex-girlfriend I was with for six years passed away. Words can't describe how devastated I am," Mr Girvan said on Facebook.
Ms Tierney's own Facebook account shows pictures of her travelling around Australia over the past couple of years.
The club was open for Sexy Poker Tuesdays the day after Ms Tierney's body was found.
