A man has died in a three-vehicle collision in Darwin.

The incident occurred on Thursday evening when a car driven by a 38-year-old woman allegedly crashed into a stationary vehicle waiting to turn right on a Berrimah road.

Pushed into oncoming traffic, that car collided with a ute, which rolled several times, killing its 68-year-old male driver.

A 50-year-old passenger was cut from the ute and taken to hospital, where he was reported to be in a stable condition.
