A visit to Sex Mountain includes rituals combining Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist influences.

In a country where sex out wedlock is strictly taboo, Indonesia is probably the last place you'd expect to find what's known as the Sex Mountain.

It's a place where thousands of Muslims are said to make regular pilgrimages to have sex with strangers.

Based on a legend dating back to the 16th century, they believe seven visits and prayers to the adulterous prince will bring them wealth and good fortune.

Patrick Abboud has ventured to the mountaintop for tonight's Dateline and spoke to Greg Dyett.
