Serena Williams has needed just 64 minutes to end the challenge of fourth seed Agnieszka Radwanska and advance to the final.
The 6-0 6-4 win sends the world No.1 into her seventh Australian Open decider.
She's unbeaten in the previous six, including last year against Maria Sharapova.
Williams told Channel 7 she is looking forward to the final.
"It just kind of blows my mind right now. I don't feel it, I just feel like I'm just playing the best I can and you know, I can't believe I'm in the final!"
Williams will face German Angelique Kerber in the final, who advanced to her maiden grand slam final at the Australian Open.
Seventh-seeded Kerber ended the fairytale run of unseeded Australian-born Brit Johanna Konta 7-5 6-2.
But, she'll still start as a huge underdog in Saturday's title match against Williams.
Regardless, Kerber says she is just excited to play in the finals.
"It's just amazing to play against the world number one in the first grand slam of the year. I'm really looking forward to taking this challenge. Of course I must play my best tennis to have a chance against her but actually I will try to give everything. I have nothing to lose on saturday. I will try to enjoy the final and hopefully play good."
Meanwhile Novak Djokovic has resisted a stirring fightback from Roger Federer to advance to a sixth Australian Open final at Melbourne Park.
The Serbian prevailed 6-1 6-2 3-6 6-3 in an enthralling semi-final.
Djokovic says he struggled at times against Federer.
"I've played an unbelievable first two sets but that's what is necessary against Roger. He's been playing at a very high level during this tournament. He dropped only one set and I knew he was going ot be aggressive, was going to try to mix up the pace and try to come to the net. But I came up with the right intensity, great concentration, I executed everything perfectly and obviously a two set lead it's more comforting but it was a battle in the end."
