Deal with it, PM tells Olympics officials

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says the new Australian Olympic Committee needs to shine sunlight on workplace bullying allegations.

Malcolm Turnbull has reminded sports officials warring over control of the Australia Olympic Committee to remember the Games ideal.

As another round of workplace bullying allegations emerged in the increasingly hostile challenge to long-time AOC president John Coates, the prime minister said a new board needed to quickly deal with the issue.

"The Olympics is an ideal about sportsmanship ... giving everyone a go," Mr Turnbull told Neil Mitchell on 3AW radio.
